The IXLA ID5 desktop personalization system is the world's most widely used desktop system for secure, high-quality personalization of polycarbonate cards.
The ID5 is IXLA's flagship and most referenced desktop solution for laser card engraving.
The ID5 models are offered in two performance levels to meet performance requirements, which we classify as HD (High Definition) and HP (High Performance) and feature a modular, jam-free, scratch-free transport system implementing flatbed engraving, CLI or MLI.
Cards are fed from a locked input feeder with a capacity of 300 cards. The output tray collects personalized cards, up to 250, following the same input sequence, while a hidden waste bin collects cards that are eventually discarded during the personalization process.
Optional encoding is available for contactless chip, contact chip and magnetic stripe, integrating dedicated hardware and software modules that comply with all applicable regulations and standards.
