What Is FARGO HDP8500LE Industrial Card Laser Engraver?
A new module which, by integrating with a printer / encoder and a laminating module, introduces new security features for laser engraving into ID cards. The HDP8500LE card personalization kit provides HDP printing, laser engraving, smart card coding and customer hologram lamination.
Laser engraving equipment ensures higher security of cards in various programs of their issuance by governmental and state institutions, which bear increased responsibility for the impossibility of forgery or misidentification, ID cards and driver's licenses, health insurance cards, etc.
What is laser engraving?
It is a highly secure method of monochrome card personalization that burns / engraves a motif into the card body. This will provide a trace that is either burned inside the card body or creates a tactile effect laser engraving on the surface (which is palpable).
Both represent highly resistant personalization, the falsification or manipulation of which is practically impossible.
